SILENT GENERALS 2022
DR. OTIVE IGBUZOR- SILENT GENERAL- (1ST QUARTER EDITION 2022)
Dr. Otive Igbuzor is the Chief of Staff to the Deputy President of the Senate and the Founding Executive Director of the African Centre for Leadership, Strategy & Development (Centre LSD) (See www.centrelsd.org). He was one-time International Head of campaigns of ActionAid International and Country Director of ActionAid Nigeria. ActionAid International is an international organization working with people, communities, associates and partners in over 50 countries in Africa, Asia, the Americas and Europe to eradicate poverty and injustice. (See www.actionaid.org). He was also an honourable Commissioner in the Police Service Commission (PSC) from 2008-2013 representing civil society. (See www.psc.gov.ng).
Prior to joining ActionAid, he was a Programme Co-ordinator of Centre for Democracy and Development (CDD), an independent research, information and training institution dedicated to policy-oriented scholarship on questions of democratic development and peace building in the West African sub-region. He also served as the Secretary of Citizens’ Forum for Constitutional Reform (CFCR), a coalition of over one hundred civil society organizations committed to a process led and participatory approach to constitutional reform in Nigeria (See www.cddwestafrica.org).
Previously, he was a lecturer at the Delta State University, Lagos Centre and has published many scholarly articles on democracy, gender, politics and development. He is the author several books including Perspectives on Democracy and Development, Challenges of Development in Nigeria, Overcoming Challenges of Transformation in Nigeria, National Security and Policing in Nigeria, Alternative Development Strategy for Nigeria and Leadership, Development and Change. He is the co-editor of two authoritative books on Constitution making and Constitutionalism in Nigeria: Contentious Issues in the Review of the 1999 Constitution and A Citizens’ Approach to Making a People’s Constitution in Nigeria, and two others, one on Poverty Eradication titled Poverty Eradication in Nigeria: Perspectives on a Participatory and Pro-Poor Approach and the other on the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) titled Can Nigeria achieve the MDGs in 2015? In all, he has 49 academic publications including seven books and 15 articles in local and international journals.
He holds a bachelors’ degree in Pharmacy, two masters’ degrees in Public Administration and International Relations and a doctorate degree in Public Administration specializing in Policy Analysis. He was a founding and leading member of many human rights and mass democratic organizations in Nigeria in the 1980s and ’90s. He is a member of many professional associations including Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN), Nigerian Political Science Association (NPSA), Institute of Strategic Management Nigeria (ISMN) and Nigerian Institute of Management. He is a fellow of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) and Institute of Strategic Management, Nigeria (ISMN). He is a past President of Institute of Strategic Management, Nigeria (ISMN) (www.ismn.com) and President of The Ejiro & Otive Igbuzor Foundation (www.igbuzorfoundation.org). He sits on the board of several organisations including Oando Foundation, Police Health Maintenance Organisation (Police HMO), Mining Implementation Strategy Team (MIST), Nigerian Women Trust Fund and Partnership Opportunities for Women Empowerment Realisation (POWER). In recognition of his leadership roles, he was appointed by the immediate past Secretary General of United Nations, Mr. Ban Ki Moon in October, 2012 into the Global Network of Men Leaders to end Violence Against Women (www.un.org).

MRS. DEBOLA DEJI-KURUNMI (DDK): SILENT GENERAL SEPTEMBER EDITION
Debola Deji-Kurunmi is a transformational catalyst, equipping a new breed of African visionaries to rise and enthrone the continent into global prominence, through her work of coaching, consulting and capacity building. Her beloved “learn through play” approach awakens excellent team dynamics, and achieves memorable learning for her clients. Debola was Learning Consultant at Phillips Consulting, and has been on the Resident Faculty of organisations including the World Bank, FATE Foundation, AWESOME Treasures Foundation, AD Consulting, LEAP Africa, VFD Bridge, Olaniwun Ajayi LP amongst others.
At IMMERSE Coaching Company, Debola leads a 50,000+ strong tech-driven global community of change-makers in 99 countries, using her breakthrough coaching methodology to elevate their impact, authority and legacy leadership. Since 2014, IMMERSE has produced over 80 courses, and runs three different subsidiaries including its recently launched men-only coaching arm. Her transformational work has been featured on TV, international news and awards.
Through Ideation Hub Africa, she runs a social profit accelerator, which supports Africa’s non-profits, innovators, civil society organisations and public sector agencies, with executive education, collaborative platforms, funding opportunities and advisory. Ideation Hub is also the host of Development Dialogue, Nigeria’s leading development sector conference since 2015.
Debola has been severally recognized for her outstanding leadership impact and has received Awards including 2014 New Leader for Tomorrow in the order of business, government, and parliaments at the Crans Montana Forum in Geneva; an award conferred before several Presidents and world leaders.
She served twice as a Mentor Jury of the Queen’s Young Leader Awards (a UK Government fellowship that honors exceptional young leaders in the Common Wealth). In 2018, she was selected by the US Government as one of Africa’s most promising young leaders and a Mandela Washington Fellow. In 2019, she was listed as one of 100 Most Inspiring Nigerian Women and announced as Nigeria’s Leading Coach at the 2021 Motherland Awards. She continues to serve as a Youth Representative at the Nigerian Economic Summit Group.
At the 2018 Mandela Washington Annual Summit in Washington DC, Debola delivered the electrifying viral speech on “How to Fry Fish to Solve a Wicked Problem” where she shared heartfelt insights for African young leaders willing to fix the continent’s toughest challenges.
DDK as she is fondly called, is an author of 20 books till date, and has spoken in three continents to emerging leaders, teams of multinational corporations, global development practitioners, SME owners, and young people yearning for a purpose-driven life.

PASTOR FREDERICK ADETIBA : SILENT GENERAL AUGUST EDITION
Frederick Adetiba is a Transformation Specialist, Life and Relationship Advisor, Social Reformer, Management Consultant and Author. He helps individuals, businesses and organisations navigate internal transformation so they can be repositioned for success and impact.
He holds a Diploma in Social Work for Development and a B.Sc. in Sociology from the University of Jos Nigeria, a Master’s degree in Sociology from Stellenbosch University, South Africa and a professional diploma in Human Resource Management. He is also a certified Marriage Mentor from The Institute of Marriage and Family Affairs, United States.
His career journey and experience cut across administration, human resources, administration, finance functions and management, including business development and project management. All these in addition to his training have deepened his understanding of personal transformation, business and organisational development as well as nation building.
Frederick is a Managing Partner at Kappa and Omega Company, a management consulting firm, and the Executive Director of FIST Africa, an NGO that is committed to providing interventions for social transformation in Nigeria and across the continent of Africa. He is also the Lead Pastor of The Finishing Church Abuja, a Reformation Kingdom Community that is committed to raising a new breed of believers for manifestation and the return of Jesus Christ.

KEMI FRED-ADETIBA: SILENT GENERAL- JULY EDITION
Kemi Fred-Adetiba (fondly called Lady Kemz) is a passionate lover and worshipper of God. She is married to Pastor Frederick Adetiba and they have two beautiful children.
Lady kemz is a Lawyer, School Administrator and Entrepreneur. She serves as an Identity and Relationship Coach as well as a Counselor.
She has a bachelor’s degree in law from Brunel University London and a Masters in International Business Law from the University of Gloucestershire in the UK. Kemi Fred-Adetiba was called into the Nigerian Bar in 2014 and has worked in legal advisory capacity.
She is also a certified business consultant from the Sean Cussons Business School and so, offers individual and corporate solutions for businesses across the continent through Kappa & Omega, a company she runs alongside her husband.
In addition to her Professional work, Ladykemz is the convener of the Kairos Army Movement equipped with a mandate to raise a generation for such a time as this In order to bring forth and steward the purposes of God for this hour through intercessory prayer, Discipleship and Transformational teachings.
She is particularly passionate about helping women build a deep relationship with God as well as understanding their identity and fulfilling their purpose in God and thus coaches and counsels young ladies (single and married) in different areas of life. She is especially graced to help couples build model marriages that will bring glory to God and validate God’s intention for the institution.
She is also a certified counselor from The Institute of Marriage and Family Affairs.
Ladykemz is the author of the book Woman, You are Fire. A book that is currently setting the hearts of women ablaze for God and uncovering to them their true identity.
She co-pastors The Finishing Church, Abuja alongside her husband. TF Church is a reformation Kingdom Community with the mandate of raising a new generation and preparing the saints for manifestation and the return of Jesus Christ.

MRS. RAQUEL DANIEL (RKD) – SILENT GENERAL- MARCH EDITION
Raquel Daniel is a community mobilizer, development strategist and educator working in marginalized communities in Nigeria focusing on education for children and sexual & reproductive health for adolescent girls through Beyond the Classroom Foundation. She is the Co-founder of Nzuriaiki.com, an online platform designed to showcase volunteer opportunities in Nigeria.
In 2015, she joined the Lagos Global Shaper of the World Economic and received the LEAP Africa Social Innovator Program fellowship. She is a Climate Reality Leader, a Carrington Fellow and a two time Mentor of the Queens Young Leaders Program.
She has received numerous awards including the 2016 Honour Nigeria Community Development Award by Trinity House, the 2014 Le Roche Exemplary Leadership Award by Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, (former Governor of Lagos State) and was a nominee of the Global Foundation Young Social Entrepreneur of the Year 2013.
Prior to Co-founding the NzuriAiki.com, she served as the Admin lead at the Secretariat of the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (in the office of the Vice President).
