Participants learned how to identify different types of peer pressure, including direct and indirect influences. The discussion highlighted common scenarios where individuals may feel pressured to conform and the emotional factors that drive such behavior.
  • Resisting Peer Pressure
Practical strategies were shared to help participants stand firm in their values. Emphasis was placed on confidence, setting boundaries, and making conscious choices even in challenging social situations.
  • Building Assertiveness Skills
Beneficiaries were introduced to assertiveness as a vital leadership skill. Through guided activities, they practiced expressing themselves clearly and respectfully while maintaining confidence in their decisions.
  • Making Independent Decisions
The training encouraged critical thinking and personal responsibility. Participants were guided on how to evaluate consequences, trust their judgment, and make decisions that align with their personal goals and values.

Topic 2: Self-Awareness and Identity

This session focused on helping participants understand themselves better and how they present themselves to others.

Key Areas Covered:

  • Developing a Positive Self-Image
Participants explored the importance of self-worth, self-acceptance, and confidence. They were encouraged to embrace their strengths and work on areas of improvement to build a healthy self-image.
  • Influence of Appearance, Posture, and Attitude
The session highlighted how outward presentation affects how others perceive us. Participants learned that neat appearance, confident posture, and a positive attitude contribute significantly to credibility, respect, and leadership presence.
