This year, on April 23, we join the global community in celebrating World Book and Copyright Day, also known as International Book Day. The 2025 theme, “The Role of Literature in Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs),” speaks directly to our mission of education and empowerment.
Books have always been more than pages and print—they are bridges to knowledge, empathy, and transformation. Literature inspires critical thinking, promotes equality, and nurtures informed communities, all essential elements for achieving the SDGs.
At Flickers of Hope Foundation (FOH), we believe in the power of reading to unlock potential and drive positive change. This World Book Day, we reaffirm our commitment to creating inclusive access to books and educational resources for all—especially for marginalized and underserved communities.
Join us as we celebrate the power of words to build a better, more sustainable future for everyone.
