Objective:
The primary goal for the Teens Club meeting, held on Saturday the 1st June 2024 in Bwari FCT Abuja was to provide a dynamic and engaging platform for teenagers to come together, foster building of right values among the young generation, and blend entertainment with learning through a series of dramatizations and activities.
Major Highlights:
- Leadership Training: Focused on First Aid and Emergency Responses. It was a very interactive and educative session, asking and answering questions pertaining to the type of first aid response to be administered for specific accidents/emergencies.
- Presentation on what they have learnt: Our teens brought in their team spirits as they presented and dramatize on what they have learnt on the definition of first aid, examples on some minor and major accidents, causes of some of these emergencies/accidents and their first aid responses, and how to prevent injuries and accidents. We learnt and we had fun.

Feedback and Reflection:
It was a time well-spent. Our teens expressed appreciation for learning the diverse ways to care for an injured person, eager to participate in other activities in coming meetings. The mix of fun and learning created an environment where teens felt comfortable, inspired, and connected with their peers.
Conclusion:
Our June Teens Club meeting successfully achieved its goal of combining fun and learning. It provided a platform for teens to bond, learn new things, and enjoy themselves in a supportive and inclusive environment. The meeting’s success underscores” is helping pre-teens and teens understand what to do in an emergency and be equipped with necessary skills to handle common accidents in their homes, schools or environment so as to keep themselves safe.
Our teens also eagerly indicated interests to be a part of various groups for future presentations.
We excitedly welcomed 6 visitors. We are grateful to our dear parents for releasing their children to be a part of our Teens club! We are keeping the excitement alive for our next meeting.
