Recap: The Power of Positive Thinking — Teens Club Session

The Teens Club meeting held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, was an inspiring and interactive session centered on the topic “The Power of Positive Thinking.” The discussion aimed at helping teenagers understand how their thoughts shape their emotions, behaviors, and overall outlook on life.

The session began with an engaging introduction on what positive thinking truly means — not just ignoring challenges, but choosing to focus on possibilities and hope even in difficult situations. Through relatable stories and real-life examples, participants learned that their thoughts are powerful seeds that can either build or break their confidence.

A key highlight was the discussion on “guarding the gateways to the mind.” Teens reflected on how what they watch, listen to, read, and the company they keep can influence their mindset. They were encouraged to feed their minds with uplifting words, music, and positive influences.

During the practical activity, participants practiced reframing negative thoughts into positive ones. For example, replacing “I can’t do it” with “I’ll do my best and learn from it.” This exercise helped them realize that positive thinking begins with self-awareness and intentional effort.

The session concluded with a group reflection on how adopting a positive mindset leads to resilience, better relationships, and a greater sense of purpose. Teens were challenged to start each day with gratitude, affirmations, and belief in their God-given potential.

Overall, the session was lively, thought-provoking, and empowering — leaving the teens motivated to think right, act right, and live right.
