The Director of Academic Planning, National Universities Commission, Dr Noel Saliu, has advised universities to constantly review their curriculum and use modern teaching methods.
Saliu, at the virtual matriculation of Trinity University, Yaba, said varsities would do well when they employ quality teaching staff and put in place adequate facilities and infrastructure.

He noted that captains of industries could be invited by varsities to teach relevant aspects of the curriculum.
The Vice-Chancellor of Trinity University, Yaba, Prof. Charles Ayo, said the teaching of problem-based learning, research-informed learning, critical thinking, innovation and creativity would help to produce globally competitive graduates.

The Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council of the university, Pastor Samuel Olatunji, advised students to be equipped with the skills and attitudes that would bring solutions to problems.
A total of 74 students took the university’s matriculation oath.
