NIGERIA ARISE! THERE IS HOPE
Nigeria, we hail thee!
A land rich in fertility,
People blessed with creativity,
Cultures so inviting,
Languages so interesting:
Indeed, the giant of Africa.
Nigeria arise from your slumber!
Its dawn but I hear a sound,
Because you are down,
Get up!
Do not stay idle for its not ideal to be idle.
There is hope stand tall to avoid the fall,
Nigeria awaits in anticipation,
Come let’s take position,
We say no to procrastination.
I see Nigeria rising from the waste, her young striving with great zeal,
Setting policies without apologies,
To leave legacies
For their successors.
Arise above challenges,
Never ever give up,
Instead look up,
So you can braze up,
If you must meet up.
Oh, my mother land!
Stand in unity not diversity,
In a land of soveignity,
With our abilities.
Nigeria arise there’s hope for sustainability.
TRANSFORMING THE POWER OF EDUCATION
Oh My Dreams, Oh My Visions,
Here on this street we have dreams and aspirations,
Making innovations in the devils workshop,
On this street education is key but what good is a key,
When there are no doors for the poor?
Oh my dreams, oh my vision,
The fuel that keeps me going;
That guiding light that keeps me towards my goals,
Every great achievements starts with a dream, yes a dream,
Because how far your sight goes determines how far your flight will be.
Oh my dreams, oh my visions,
Not just my aspirations,
But the blueprint of the life I want to create for myself,
No matter how farfetched they may seem, never give
Because they hold the power to transform our lives.
Dream big because you must be the change you wish to see in the world,
Work hard because hard work beats talent,
The only thing to fear in life is fear itself,
Walk towards your dream with intentionality for it to be a reality
Education is the reality
Yes, education the transforming power.
