The Leadership Training for Scholarship Beneficiaries held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, featured a highly impactful session on Gender Talk, designed to educate, inspire, and empower both male and female students to understand themselves better, build confidence, and uphold godly values in their daily lives and interactions.
The session addressed key areas such as personal hygiene, self-esteem, body image, relationships, and moral values — all essential aspects of personal growth and leadership development.
For the female participants, discussions focused on understanding the importance of personal hygiene, especially during menstruation. Participants gained accurate knowledge about menstrual health, debunked common myths, and learned how to manage their monthly periods with confidence and cleanliness. They were also guided to develop a positive body image, appreciate their uniqueness, and embrace self-acceptance rooted in self-awareness and godly values.

The male participants were engaged in sessions on personal hygiene, grooming, and body care, helping them understand the importance of cleanliness and self-respect. They also explored topics on body image, confidence, and character, learning to value themselves and others through positive self-expression and discipline.
Both male and female groups discussed on emotional awareness, self-control, purity, and the importance of setting and respecting personal boundaries. The conversations highlighted the value of healthy friendships and respectful interactions between genders, as well as the role of dress sense, self-respect, and integrity in personal presentation and leadership.
The training created a safe and supportive environment where students could ask open questions and gain clarity on sensitive issues related to hygiene, body image, relationships, and self-acceptance.
Overall, the Gender Talk session was insightful and transformative. Participants left with a clearer understanding of how to care for their bodies, build confidence, maintain purity, and develop positive, respectful relationships that reflect godly character and leadership values.
