The 1st meeting of FOH Teens Leadership Club at GUITA Community, Bwari Area Council, Abuja. Held on Friday, 21st September 2024.
The theme for our general class for September was tagged “Values” The teaching was centered on helping our teens know what values are and to know what is right and wrong and how to behave. They were also taught on different values like Respect, Responsibility, and Kindness. The teaching was to the end that they can endeavor to cultivate the values of being responsible, respecting others and themselves, and showing kindness. It was an impactful moment as they were taken through the subject matter and led to a better understanding of Values.
The day was crowned with spelling bee competition, aimed at enlightening the teens to know the importance of spelling correctly and reading. Impactful books were also distributed to our teens from our community library. The aim is to go into the inner rural communities and raise leaders, Knowing that no child should be left unreached with knowledge that empowers. it was a wonderful time learning and doing many educative activities with over 38 new club members. We look forward to reaching more communities.
