The May 2025 edition of the Teens Leadership Club, held on Saturday, 3rd of May 2025 was another educative, interactive session with our teens. The theme for May was tagged ‘‘Negative and Limiting Mindset’’ Our teens were taught the meaning of Negative/limiting mindset; as a way of thinking, that expect failure, disappointment, or harm, focusing mostly on what could go wrong. Also, they learnt about uncovering some limiting mindsets which are; “the get rich quick mindset”, “the gender change mindset”, “the selfish mindset”, “the social media mindset”. We mentored our teens on strategies for embracing the right mindset, which leads to true fulfillment. They were also taught about the reasons for having limiting mindsets which are; fear of failure, past experiences, negative influences, society and media and low self-esteem. After the lesson, they were divided into small groups of seven (7) and each group were asked to act on different scenario where a teen is facing a challenge.

Overall, it was an educative, interactive and fun-filled meeting as our teens shared what they have learnt.
